 Eve Was Framed
Made as I processed feelings of being sick and tired of being blamed for everything, and accused of things that I didn't do by people who don't have a single clue what its like to be me and walked in my shoes.
Created from an article in a 1970's Life Magazine
39" x 27" Mixed Media on Repurposed Art Board | Women not Machines
in a private collection. | The Good Nature One (Throws a Tantrum)
Created during a time in my life when I turned to science to understand what the heck was going on with me after my newborn son was adopted. My brain tried to use logic, like, you totally fucked up, deal with it. You signed papers, there is nothing you an do about it, you've exhausted all the options. You have to give up. My body was having a completely different conversation, insisting upon going through the biological processes of birth & motherhood. |
